By Road : From El Salvador it’s possible to take the ferry to Bom despacho, in the island of Itaparica, then continue the road BA001 to Itacaré. From IIeus the road is straightforward road BA001 along the coast.
Transportations : Rental car available at the IIeus airport. Taxis are also available. A bus line is operating 7 days a week, conncets to IIleus and Itacare. First departure at 7am then every 2 hours until 7pm. The ticket price is approximately R 7. The trip takes about an hour and forty minutes.
Climate : The climate is tropical. Temperatures goes to 25° and 30° degrees C but can goes up to 35°C during the austral summer (December to March). The sun shines all year. The rain are more frequent during the austral winter (June to August)
